TOPICS OF DISCUSSION

  1. Mini class credibility
    1. The minis ability to participate in the 2007 Bermuda 1-2 stems from years of discussion between US mini owners and longtime 1-2 participants (notably Drew Wood and Jan Brandt) and the governing committee of the 1-2 race.
    2. Minis will participate in the 2007 Bermuda 1-2 as an Exhibition class.
    3. As an Exhibition class we will not be eligible for trophies provided by the Bermuda 1-2 race committee, and will not be officially scored by the race committee.

                                                              i.      MCUS may provide trophies for Minis in the 1-2

    1. As an Exhibition class we will race as a one design class.

                                                              i.      Based on the number of participants the MCUS reserves the right to further discuss whether to split the Mini fleet into Series and Proto classes for scoring purposes (MCUS scoring only!)

2. Safety

a. Minis will meet 2006 Guide Mini regulations (or be grandfathered in by having received an official number prior to 1995)

b.      Minis will adhere to all safety and equipment rules in the Bermuda 1-2 NOR.

OPTIONS:
